Building effective business relationships in China

Building effective relationships in China is usually considered more difficult than in other countries.  Businesses must be culturally aware of how commerce is conducted and how business friendships are developed.

Axis Consulting Group has a number of clients who are already working in or doing business in China, we came upon an opportunity offered by the Melbourne City Council we thought we might highlight to all clients and friends.

In order to help businesses learn more about China, its business culture and potential business opportunities, the Melbourne City Council is welcoming anyone (not just Melburnians) to join the Council's In-Country Professional Development Program to China from 15 to 26 April 2006.

The itinerary includes Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai for business meetings, workshops and networking events.

The Council is holding an information session on Thursday 19 January at 6.30pm on level 2 of the Melbourne Town Hall, Swanston Street.

TO RSVP a spot at the info night, please call the City of Melbourne Hotline on 03-96589658 by Wednesday 18 January 2006.

Axis wishes the best for you and your business in the coming Year of the Dog!
